The sweet life of Zach and Cody

These two boys have it good! They love playing with each other and get along so well. So glad they have each other while the others are at school. They keep me and each other company!

Cousin Time

We were happy to be able to watch Max, Mya and Sadie for a couple of days for Val and Jarred. Our kids get along so well and love spending time together.  Max and Tyler are the best of buds and Mya, Sadie and Kennady could easily pass for triplets!

Happy Birthday Brooke!

This beauty turned 11 years old on Feb. 21. This year she wanted to change up her room. We picked out material and I started sewing her a quilt and curtains. It was a late birthday present by the time I finished it but she loved it when it was done. I am so proud of the kind, loving, talented young woman she is becoming! She still loves gymnastics, archery, violin and is very artistic. Brooke scored a 229 in archery which ranked her first among Wyoming 5th graders her age!(Elem. division girls rank was 1st out of 11, 5th grade girls rank was 1st out of 5, and overall girls rank was 16th out of 99) We love you Brookie!!

Ski Trip

We rented a townhouse in Eden, UT so we could ski Wolf Mountain with the Whitings for a few days. Grandpa and Grandma were able to come and ski with us one day. Zach and Cody sat out but everyone else caught on to skiing pretty quickly and we all had a lot of fun, with no major injuries! Yay!!

Cody turns the big ONE!

Updating my blog so I can print out my yearbook. Time to catch up big time!!
Cody is all boy!! I just love this little guy, from his dimpled ear lobes to his huge smile. He can definitely try my patience with his feisty attitude but melts my heart with his snuggles.  Happy 1st Birthday Cody! So glad you're mine and that you are part of our family!! We LOVE you!

Snowscapes

Our family went to a physicians retreat in Victor, ID for Jake's job. We all enjoyed a great meal and then spent the night at a nice resort hotel. The next morning Brooke needed to be in Rexburg, ID for a gymnastics meet, so I took the kids with me and Jake stayed in Victor for his conferences. On the way to Rexburg, we stopped at this amazing snow sculpture exhibit in Driggs, ID. I can't imagine the time it took to carve these out of mounds of snow. So cool!!

Happy New Year

We went to Utah for a few days after Christmas. We had fun visiting with family and cousins. One of the highlights for the kids was going to "Hang time" in Orem which is my kids' new favorite bounce place.
