Kiddios

Tyler has been loving being in Young Men's/Scouts and being involved with all the activities that come with that.  So far he has been to his first temple trip, went skiing and swimming, camped out at his first "Freezerie".  He has also been busy going to POW WOW's and working towards earning some merit badges.  He has been doing great at school, all A's and B's, and chose to play the trumpet in band. All the 5th and 6th graders have to choose to be in band or orchestra and just a couple of months ago they had a concert.(Tyler is in the middle of the picture below)  Tyler also played city league basketball again and this year he has learned and grown a lot.  His team won every game except for one. He is excited for spring so he can practice more outside.  Tyler has also been involved with the archery program that the school offers and was right on track to qualify for nationals but nerves got to him a little bit on testing day. Even with the nerves, he still made the team but unfortunately the school cannot support the team to go to nationals in Kentucky. Tyler is also getting good at skiing thanks to the school taking the students on ski trips to Pine Creek.

Brooke has been busy being a little mommy! She is such a good little helper, I don't know what I would do with out her! She is enjoying gymnastics, practicing her violin, and playing basketball.  She also has been involved with the archery program at school and just recently learned that she qualified for nationals in Kentucky.  She actually took 1st place among Wyoming 4th grade girl students!  Not bad for her first year! She has been practicing with her new pink bow and is very excited to be going to Kentucky in May. She has also enjoyed going on the school ski trips to Pine Creek.

Kennady is loving 1st grade!  She is an excellent student(all A"s) and loves reading! She never complains about doing her homework, in fact for Valentines Day her teacher gave her a coupon for one free day of not doing homework and I had to beg her to use it one night!  She loves it when there is crazy hair day at school,  I think because it sooo fits her personality!  Her favorite movie right now is "Brave"and I figured out why when I watched it with her one night.  The character and Kennady can totally relate....they are both "spit-fires"!   Kennady's smile just makes my day and she brings so much fun to our family. She loves doing gymnastics and practicing her splits. She recently lost her other front top tooth and is patiently waiting for her new teeth to come in.  Kennady is an awesome big sister and loves playing with Zach and holding Cody.

Zach has been such a little trooper going through this adjustment with the new baby.  He has handled it like a champ! He has had to do a lot of growing up within the past few months.  He is now potty-trained, sleeping in his big boy bed and is sharing his mommy/daddy time with his new baby brother.  He still loves his blue blankey and sucking his thumb! You know he loves Cody when he is willing to share his blankey! (The picture of him sharing his blanket just melts my heart.) Zach is such a sweet boy, hopefully he can carry that sweetness with him as we will soon be entering into the "terrible 3's" soon. Zach loves dinosaurs, motorcyle rides with dad, and pretending to shoot guns. He make the best sounds whether it be trucks, motorcycles or guns.   In the picture below he is pretending my decorative stick is a gun. Anything he finds he seems to transform into a gun.  What a cutie!!

Cody is just as cute as ever and is growing up so fast! He is almost 2 months old and is starting to smile and make those cute baby sounds more and more every day.  He is being so good to me and is sleeping really well at night, waking up only once to eat. I can't seem to get enough cuddle time with him. He is definitely one loved little guy!!

Cody's Baby Blessing

We blessed Cody on March 10th at our home. Jake did a great job with the blessing and it was fun to have family together again for this special occasion. We are so blessed to have this little bundle of joy in our lives!

Zach was being camera shy

Brooke's Birthday

Our beautiful daughter, Brooke, turned 10 years old on Feb. 21st.  I took her out of school a little early to go and get a zebra striped pedicure and a haircut at Toe Candy here in town. They surprised her with some balloons and a big ole' cupcake!  In the evening we took her bowling and then finished off the night with cake and ice cream at home.  Happy Birthday Brooke, We love you!

Cute Cody Pictures

Any extra time I had during our first couple weeks home was spent taking pictures of Cody.

Home from the Hospital

It is always good to come home from the hospital and enjoy time with family. My sister, Stef, was able to come and stay with us for a couple of days which was so nice and helpful. The next few weeks brought a lot of welcomed visitors and it was so fun to show off my new bundle of cuteness!

Thekids were so excited when they found out that their cousins, Kaden and Brinly, came with Grandma and Grandpa to visit.  Unfortunately I missed getting a picture taken of Grandpa holding Cody.
