Pixie

A few weeks ago we got another dog, a weimaraner. Her name is Pixie and she is about 3 months old. Jake took a day trip to Idaho Falls and when he went to Sportsman's Warehouse someone was outside selling them. Our other dog, Polly, gets along with her very well and so far Pixie is much more mellow as a puppy than Polly ever was sothat is a huge relief to me.

Lemonade stand

Last weekend the kids and I went to Idaho because I did a yard sale with my sisters and mom. We lucked out and picked a good weekend to have it. The weather was great and we had a very good turnout. The kids decided before we left that they wanted to sell lemonade at the yard sale. They had fun with their lemonade stand and were quite persistent in making sure people knew they were there. Even Kennady was quite the little seller. Who could resist her saying "Fresh-squeezed lemonade, 50 dollars a cup!"

Kennady turns 5!

Kennady's birthday could not come soon enough for her this year. She could hardly wait to turn the big 5 years old! I on the other hand would have had no problem holding on to my 4 year old. She grew up soo fast on me. A week before her birthday she graduated from preschool. She went to Busy Bears Preschool on Monday and Wednesday mornings and loved every minute of it. She is anxiously awaiting being able to go to Kindergarten at the new Elementary school this fall.

To celebrate Kennady's birthday we were able to go to Jackson for a few days because Jake was there at Teton Village for a continuing education conference for the week. We stayed a couple of nights at the Hotel Terra. The kids loved every minute there and could not wait to go swimming in the pool. Kennady's birthday was spent going to Wendy's for lunch(her choice) and swimming at Jackon's recreation center. Then we found a nearby Albertson's and let Kennady choose her birthday cake from the bakery and headed back to the hotel for cake and ice cream. Kennady had a great day and she is such a great kid. She keeps us laughing and we love her to pieces!!

In between Jake's meetings we also managed to do a few of our favorite things. We went on a little hike, drove to the Tetons, and as always made a stop at our favorite candy store.
