Tyler kept busy playing basketball in January and February with Afton's Jr. Jazz program for 4th graders to 8th graders. His team had six 4th graders on it and they rotated playing a different 4th grade team each game between 1-2 games per week. He likes playing basketball but after about the fourth or fifth loss he was getting sick of playing. We told him it was important for him to stick with his team and do his best. Unfortunately he lost every game, except for one.(the switched up the teams a little bit for the very last game) The first of the season his team was losing by 20 points and by the end of the season they were only losing by about 4-5 points. Thankfully, they gradually improved and gained confidence in themselves. I think this experience was really good for him and he learned a lot, hopefully he will still want to play next year.
