Home from the Hospital

It is always good to come home from the hospital and enjoy time with family. My sister, Stef, was able to come and stay with us for a couple of days which was so nice and helpful. The next few weeks brought a lot of welcomed visitors and it was so fun to show off my new bundle of cuteness!

Thekids were so excited when they found out that their cousins, Kaden and Brinly, came with Grandma and Grandpa to visit.  Unfortunately I missed getting a picture taken of Grandpa holding Cody.

Baby Cody is here!!

Cody Taylor Crosby was born on Jan. 30, 2013 at Star Valley Medical Center in Afton, WY.  He was born at 4:42 p.m. and weighed 8 lbs 15 oz. and was 22 1/4 inches long. He broke the record and is my biggest baby. We are so happy and relieved that everything went well and that he is healthy.  The kids love him to pieces and we are all so excited that he is part of our family! I also should mention that his cousin Nixon was also born on the same day to Jake's sister, Sunny.  It will be fun to share his birthday with his cousins.(Nixon and Brinly)

Snow

Brooke, Zach and Kennady decided to get bundled up and go make the most of a cold, snowy Saturday. Zach sure had a lot of fun getting pulled around on the sled and the girls got a good workout!

Merry Christmas

We were able to make a quick trip to Utah the weekend before Christmas to see Grandma and Grandpa, aunts, uncles and cousins. We had a lot of fun. Grandma treated the kids to a Christmas craft, pinata and decorating gingerbread cookies.  We were also able to go to the Parade of lights in Spanish Fork one night. The kids couldn't believe all of the cool Christmas decorations.

Christmas Eve we went out to eat at Pizza Hut for dinner and then came home to get ready for Santa Claus to come.  The kids opened their new pajamas, put out the cookies, milk and carrots with their note to Santa and then we gathered around to hear the Christmas Story of Christ's birth. The kids were all tucked in bed and asleep by 9:30 and we ended waking them up in the morning around 6:30.  After opening presents I made a big breakfast and then let the kids enjoy their presents all afternoon.  Later that day we had are own little Christmas Dinner and then I let the kids help make and decorate sugar cookies. It was such a fun Christmas and I am reminded of my many blessings.
